A little more about the paintings:
Sunflowers: My favorite flower - these were actually from my garden, and this was a bouquet I had on my kitchen table.
Irises: This painting was a gift I painted for my sister Ruthie. It has special meaning since our mother loved irises, and had many in her garden.
France: Two of the paintings were from my trip to France. The country scene was painted out on a farm in the outskirts of the village, the other was painted on one of the charming village streets.
Flag: My response to September 11, 2001.
Ocean scene: I did a series of doors, and this is one from that series. To me, doors symbolize hope, and opportunities.
Water Lilies: I love flowers, and have painted many...this is just one that I really liked.
